After School Club
Dalkeith After School Club is a safe, happy environment with friendly staff to cover addition hours to suit your family needs. Our clubs encourage all children to become happy well rounded individuals who are independent to build on their self-confidence.
Within our club areas, resources are available so children can chose what they would like to play or engage with, such as art & craft areas, construction area, role play, outdoors play opportunities and much more. It is our belief that this is your child’s time to relax and explore through play, while being supervised by our qualified and experienced staff.
As well as your child having the opportunity to play independently or with others, we encourage inclusion. From both staff and children.
BREAKFAST CLUB
The focus for our Breakfast Clubs is to provide a calm, welcoming and relaxing environment for your children ready for their busy day ahead. Times vary dependent on the school the club is based in, but each breakfast club usually runs for at least 45 minutes and finishes at school start time.
A healthy and nutritious breakfast is served every morning (fruit, toast, cereals, fruit drinks, water) and the children are able to choose from a selection of quiet games and activities including art tables, board games, construction games, books and many more. Breakfast is on offer for the first 20 minutes of the session. At the end of the session, children are safely escorted to a pre-agreed location, dependent on the requirements of the school.
HOLIDAY CLUB
Our holiday camps for kids meet parents’ needs to occupy their children whilst they’re working or just keeping them stimulated and active during their extended break from school.
Just keeping children occupied is nowhere near enough, children want fun and excitement with activities and staff that can entertain them all day long. That’s why summer activities for kids at Barracudas are different to other childcare settings. We have a fantastic programme with a wide range of activities that can truly claim to offer something for every child!
All of our summer holiday camps sites have been chosen for their excellent facilities. Plenty of space to accommodate all sorts of activity equipment, green space to run around in and, of course, plenty of indoor space in case of the odd summer rain shower! Whatever your child’s passionate about, or whatever the weather, you can be sure they’ll have the best summer ever at one of our activity camps.
