Dalkeith After School Club is a safe, happy environment with friendly staff to cover addition hours to suit your family needs. Our clubs encourage all children to become happy well rounded individuals who are independent to build on their self-confidence.
Within our club areas, resources are available so children can chose what they would like to play or engage with, such as art & craft areas, construction area, role play, outdoors play opportunities and much more. It is our belief that this is your child’s time to relax and explore through play, while being supervised by our qualified and experienced staff.
As well as your child having the opportunity to play independently or with others, we encourage inclusion. From both staff and children.

The aim of Dalkeith After School Club is to provide a professional, affordable childcare service.
DASC will:
- Provide a safe and fun environment,
- Promote the health and wellbeing of our service users,
- Strive to see each child achieve their full potential,
- Create and maintain a nurturing environment ensuring each child’s emotional wellbeing is cared for,
- Develop and facilitate a programme of activities to ensure our service users are active both mentally and physically,
- Promote and demonstrate positive messages and encourage the children to be responsible for themselves, others, and their environment,
- Promote Self-respect and respect for others,
- Strive to be a fully inclusive service ensuring all our children can be included in our activities.

We offer a healthy selection of fruits, cereals and snacks to make sure your child is provided proper nutrition and a healthy diet.

The kids have the space and company to participate in a range of sports activities both indoor and outdoor.
arts & crafts
Our facilities provide well equipped areas where the kids can participate in a range of arts and crafts activities.
excursions
We organise regular trips to local parks and attractions where the kids can safely play and enjoy the trip.
Outdoor Play
Our clubs provide outdoor play areas for when the weather is good, where the kids can safely play.
music & dance
Our extra curricular activities include music and dance.
